Wanted: digital communication intern

Doing an internship with us means: rolling up your sleeves, hands-on, a lot of freedom and fun but also responsibility. Your English needs to excellent. If you speak Dutch: wonderful.

As a digital communication intern, you are part of the new media department. In addition to learning about your own department, you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the full chocolate-making industry and will work closely with the production team as well.

What are you going to do?
Supporting us in building a solid community online and offline. This means you will help with the creation of all on- & offline publications, such as posts, newsletter flow, flyers and the website, both in Dutch and English; Creating, scheduling and maintaining social media content; Provide support in the production of events and packing and shipping. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are in the last year of education, for example marketing, digital communication, creative business, CMV, Media and Culture or a university study that you want to supplement with practical knowledge;
• You are tech-savvy and quickly familiarize yourself with new computer programs;
• You have editorial skills and an affinity with social media;
• You have a feeling for art/imagery/design and programs like Photoshop/Canva/Pixlr
• There is a lot of fun stuff to do. Yet you don’t complain when we need to do all the not-fun stuff as well: sweeping floors, packing/sending orders, wrapping chocolate and doing dishes are also part of our daily tasks and we need your help.
• You have an interest in food/products/branding and are in the know about what’s new in this industry.
• You like to communicate, you pay attention to details, you are independent and you ring the bell when support is needed;
• You speak and write English perfectly and if you speak Dutch it is amazing.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Internship for 3 days a week. Compensation is €350 per month part-time internship.
Period asap. Preferably 4 to 6 months.
